The beautiful Vivian J. Lincoln Branch Library, designed by HKS Architects, is named after Vivian Lincoln, a dedicated educator and first female African American principal in the Crowley Independent School District. To honor her deep commitment, the community voted that the library be named after her. HKS incorporated tree elements and use of wood to provide a sense calm and harmony.
Pictured here in a sage green Inset is a modified Arboretum pattern supplied by the architect’s interiors team. This design detail ties into multiple product types, including our Panel Leg Carrel and shelving End Panels, creating beauty and continuity in the space.
Kestrel Child Chairs in clear maple finish; not only elegant, but a durable seating solution in the children’s area. Chairs are paired with a custom quad carrel with power and wire management access.
The Cube Nook as a standalone or integrated into the bank of shelving, offers a cozy spot to curl up and read a book. The Nook’s organic shape works nicely with the tree motif going on in the library.
In the adult section, the Lake Laptop Table and Lake Drum Table add an organic touch and overall tie-in to the whole library’s interior.
