Kenosha Public Library
Kenosha, WI
Architect: Engberg Anderson
The new children’s area at Kenosha Public Library bursts with color and creativity, offering young visitors a place to read, play, and explore. Specified by Engberg Anderson Architects, the lively space features our products that combine playful shapes, bright finishes, and functional design to spark imagination and support learning.

The Automobile features bench seating with double steering wheels, inviting kids to take the driver’s seat and let their imaginations roam. A rear storage area keeps books and learning materials close at hand, while transportation themed Learning Panels on the back of the car add more opportunities for play, interaction, and discovery.
The Family Workstation provides a functional solution for caregivers who need a shared space to work while keeping young children comfortably nearby. The design incorporates a soft mat, mirror, and Learning Panels to support early engagement and exploration. An imprinted brown dog with a red bird perched on its tail adds a playful, welcoming accent to the environment.

Children love spaces that invite make-believe and imagination. Adding pops of color and personality, our Zetty Fox and Raccoon Tail Stools bring charm and character to the area.
Vertical surfaces, including end panels, feature mounted Learning Panels that encourage hands-on interaction — creating a lively environment full of curiosity and conversation.

A flock of Geese Mobiles adds a soft, storybook touch overhead, creating a gentle focal point that helps define children’s areas, guide families through the space, and bring motion and warmth to the environment.
The Leaf Sprout Display brings a touch of nature to the space, offering a playful yet functional way to feature books.
