Billie Jean King Main Library

We designed and fabricated a dynamic early learning space for the children’s room at Billie Jean King Main Library in Long Beach. The library requested the space be inspired by the ocean—an integral part of their community. This case study will explore how we went about achieving this. There are many components which included furniture, display, murals, early learning and a portal treatment. What was created was cohesiveness both aesthetically and in content.
